Online Influenza Prevention and Treatment Resources

 
NFID has developed online resources reporters can download and reference when developing year-round stories on influenza.  These materials are designed to provide media with a comprehensive overview of the complex and seasonal nature of this deadly virus, and the necessary public health response to address the annual 36,000 deaths and more than 200,000 hospitalizations attributed to influenza. 
 
NFID encourages reporters to access these materials throughout the year to support development of seasonal influenza vaccination media coverage.
