Representatives from many of the nation’s top professional medical and government health agencies presented a full spectrum of information on seasonal influenza during NFID’s Influenza Media Forum, an event held on May 18, 2006.

The topics of discussion included vaccination recommendations, disease burden and epidemiology, vaccine supply and distribution, immunization programs and the importance of provider and consumer education.
